"we'll always have Paris" I whisper in their ears. This was the second girls trip associated with" The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"and I can't quite put my finger on it but I believe its one that fits my novel. One day I will write about all my adventures , or should I say, our adventures. My daughter will read and know I experienced so much with a group of girls that became a sisterhood throughout the years. Its not easy, It is actually really hard to maintain these kind of memories with a group of friends.During the trip there were extreme highs and lows, stressful moments, beautiful and thrilling. I couldn't understand it or even put it all together until I got home and was able to breath and reminisce about what had occurred previous week. It was enchanting really, surreal and the kind of trip that makes you smile to yourself while you get in the shower. It was a week that most never get to experience and nonetheless in France and the Spanish islands. I felt myself out of a movie walking the streets with a newfound confidence, feeling the lust in the air, thriving with excitement and life, exuding a glow and not to mention my "sexo y Lucia" inspired look for the Spanish isles! Like I mentioned, it was a Magical week that I couldn't understand because I thought I was living out of one of the many international films I watch or novels of women who go to these far off corners of the world and lose themselves in a romantic adventure!Through everything that happened I am so thankful and overjoyed to have experienced this journey with these girls and most importantly have these memories forever. That is the real adventure, to be able to smile about our night in Paris, or the thrill of Ibiza nights and succulent affair with the Mediterranean Sea at dawn after a night out, the Spanish dream to bathe in the glistening waters of Mallorca, free of judgement and full of confidence whenever we want to be in that moment again. I recommend anyone to travel and journey with a group of friends, its amazing how spiritual and luscious the friendship can become.
